Filet Mignon Recipe

‣ Filet mignon steaks ‣ Butter ‣ Fresh rosemary ‣ Fresh thyme ‣ Garlic ‣ Sea salt ‣ Black pepper
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Remove filet mignon from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.
Mash together butter and herbs, form a log, and refrigerate.
Season the filets liberally with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, until very hot. Add butter.
Add steaks and sear on each side.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake to desired level of doneness.
Remove the filets from the oven and top each with herb butter.
Enjoy your filet mignon!
