Popular 2025 Recipe Trends

- Comfort food with a healthy twist – You were all about cozy meals this year, with better ingredients and lighter options. I was craving the same thing… nourishing, feel-good food that still hits the spot.
- Creative takes on chicken – Chicken dominated again this year (no surprise there!), but what stood out were versions that brought something new to the table.
- Steakhouse vibes at home – You leaned into restaurant-style dinners made easy. I loved seeing how many of you were recreating “date night in” meals!
- Veggies as the star – Sides had their moment, and I loved it. You kept them simple, crisp, and full of flavor. My kind of veggies.
- Protein-packed everything – From quick lunches to better-for-you treats, high-protein recipes were everywhere. Clearly, you’re just as into them as I am.

Top 10 *New* Recipes In 2025
Quick note before we dive in. This list highlights the new recipes I shared this year, not the all-time greatest hits. So if your favorites aren’t here, it just means they’ve already earned classic status. 😉 Let’s see the best of what’s new:
10. Healthy Chocolate Cake
I made this with zero sugar honey and almond flour, but the texture is what blew me away. It’s somewhere between cake and brownie, and you guys loved it for birthdays and holidays just as much as I do.
9. Crispy Baked Chicken
Crispy without frying? No wonder it took off. The buttery coating gets golden in the oven and goes with everything – veggies, salads, or even just dipped in sauce.
8. Pineapple Glazed Ham
This one took off fast, especially around the holidays. The glaze is sweet and sticky, the meat stays juicy, and it looks way fancier than the effort it takes. I love how many of you made it your new go-to for special dinners.
7. Petite Sirloin Steak
Steak night got an upgrade this year. This cut is affordable, tender, and cooks perfectly in a skillet. You made it clear that easy steak dinners are always in style.
6. Smash Burgers
This one exploded as soon as I posted it. Crispy edges, juicy middle, and diner vibes at home. I saw so many of you making it for burger night and stacking them high with all the toppings.
5. Chicken Patties
Juicy, cheesy, and super kid-friendly. These started as a comfort food idea from my childhood, and I loved seeing how quickly they caught on. I freeze extras for easy lunches and fast weeknight meals.
4. Creamy Broccoli Soup
Thick, creamy, and made without flour, this soup quickly became a reader favorite. It’s one of my go-to lunches, and I’ve seen so many of you serve it with sandwiches or freeze it for later.
3. Healthy Carrot Cake
You all went crazy for this one after I shared it in the spring. It’s naturally sweetened, full of warm spice, and somehow still light.
2. High Protein Pizza
I shared this crust early in the year, and it took off fast. It’s chewy, crispy, and packed with protein, even before you add toppings. So many of you made it your new go-to for pizza night, and I totally get why.
1. Cabbage Soup
The most popular new recipe I shared all year! It’s warm, cozy, made with basics, and still totally satisfying. I think you loved it for the same reason I do — it just hits the spot.
Overall Top 10 Recipes In 2025
And here they are… the overall top 10 recipes of 2025! These are the ones you cooked, loved, and shared the most all year long. Many of these have been longtime favorites, and it makes me so happy to see you still coming back to them.
10. Chicken Fritters
These make me so happy. They’re inspired by a recipe my grandma used to make for me, but I gave them a cheesy, low carb twist that totally took off. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and kid-approved.
9. Keto White Bread
This was your go-to low carb bread recipe all year. It slices like a dream, toasts beautifully, doesn’t fall apart, and is super soft and fluffy. I think it became a favorite because it actually feels like bread, not just a substitute.
8. Oven Roasted Aparagus
This one is as simple as it gets, and sometimes that’s exactly what we need. It’s quick, flavorful, and the crispy tips are hard to stop eating. I make it weekly and apparently, so do a lot of you.
7. Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole
This is one of those all-in-one meals that checks every box! It’s creamy, cheesy, savory, and easy to make ahead. I love how many of you made it your weeknight staple this year.
6. Broiled Lobster Tail
It always makes me smile to see this one trending. It looks so fancy, but it’s one of the fastest seafood recipes I have. Perfect for holidays, date nights, or just when you feel like treating yourself.
5. Pan Seared Halibut
This recipe shot up the list quickly, and I think I know why. It’s flaky, buttery, and super fast to cook, with a lemony pan sauce that takes it to the next level. One of my personal favorites, too.
4. Big Mac Salad
This one is just plain fun. It tastes like the real thing but skips the bun, and my special sauce pulls it all together. You guys made it again and again for lunches, meal prep, and even family dinners.
3. Copycat Chipotle Barbacoa
You told me this one made you ditch takeout, and I love that. It’s tender, flavorful, and makes a big batch you can use all week. Tacos, bowls, taco salads… you name it.
2. Sugar Free Cheesecake
Year after year, this one stays near the top. It’s rich, creamy, and tastes just like classic cheesecake. I use Besti Granulated in the crust and Besti Powdered in the filling instead of sugar. So many of you have told me no one can tell the difference.
1. Sirloin Steak
This was the top recipe of the year, and I’m not surprised. It’s juicy, flavorful, and so easy to make with just a skillet and oven. The balsamic marinade seals the deal. You keep coming back to it, and so do I.

0I use your recipes at least 5 times a week. I’m trying to get my body into ketosis after a long break, but I’ve used your recipes for a long while from when I first tried keto 4 years ago. I love your chicken recipes the most. Always delicious and tasty. Thank you for all your hard work, and blessings to you and your family for 2026.
