Is there anyone in the world who doesn’t love cookies? With the holidays approaching, cookie season is already starting.
I’ll be the first to admit that I love making my own low carb cookies. I make sugar-free chocolate chip cookies and gluten-free shortbread cookies all the time – no matter the season. But, sometimes I just don’t have the time!
That’s why I was so excited to discover Fat Snax cookies.
If you haven’t heard of Fat Snax yet, I hope you’ll be as excited as I was. They are gluten-free, sugar-free, keto, and even paleo-approved low carb cookies you can buy!
I’m really pleased with the natural ingredients in these cookies. Most packaged low carb products contain things I don’t want to eat, but not these. They are similar to the homemade low carb cookies that I like to make.
When I don’t have time to bake myself, I love that I can still enjoy some cookies with ingredients that make me happy.
Fat Snax cookies are made with almond flour and coconut flour. They use grass-fed butter and pasture raised eggs. The ingredients are organic, too, which is a nice bonus. They don’t have any weird preservatives or anything artificial, either.
The cookies use a blend of erythritol, xylitol, and stevia for sweeteners. Perfect – my three favorites! The combination creates a very natural sweet taste that really tastes just like sugar. Even the chocolate chips in the chocolate chip cookies are with erythritol, inulin, and stevia, which is pretty rare for sugar-free chocolate.
As a result of the low carb flours and sweeteners, Fat Snax have 1-2 net carbs per cookie. That makes them great for keto and low carb diets!
Paleo and low carb ingredients are great and all, but what about the taste? Fat Snax didn’t disappoint there, either.
They come in three varieties – chocolate chip, peanut butter, and ginger turmeric. The taste is just like what you’d expect from those delicious flavors, and the texture is soft and chewy. The chocolate chip is probably my favorite.
Personally, I’d eat Fat Snax cookies even if I didn’t care about low carb or paleo!
I’m not going to lie – I’ve been bringing these to work to enjoy for breakfast with my coffee sometimes. Hey, why not have cookies for breakfast when they’re packed with protein, healthy fat, and no sugar?
