Cook zucchini:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add zucchini slices in a single layer. Saute zucchini until it starts to brown, stirring only once or twice in between.
Cook butter and garlic:
Push the zucchini to the sides. Add the butter (the secret ingredient!) and let it melt. Add minced garlic to the butter and saute briefly, until fragrant.
